2018 Tiger Cup

Another steaming hot day at Fanling.  In my case not helped by thinking I had lost my phone and running from the 1st tee to the range, then to the changing room, and back to the first tee resulting in being completely soaked in sweat for the first 9 holes. Phone was of course still in my golf bag.

Best score on the day was only +1 which in this format is not a particularly strong score. Looks like we do not play well in the heat as the greens were very docile.

Highlight of my group was Tom McColl regaling us of how he hit the 17th earlier in the week in 2 and three putted for a par – only to hit the 17th in 2 and three putt for a par.  Maybe that sort of story is better kept until after your round!
